KEEP YOUR BODY CLEAN

Our body last for our lifetime. We must keep it neat and clean. Looking nice is one thing but feeling attractive is important during adolescence. This is the period when your body experience many shape changes and produce new smells and new fluids. These changes create new worries for many young people. Adopting good hygiene practices can make you feel comfortable with your body changes.

TAKE BATH REGULARLY

Take bath on regular basis. Bath soap will do fine. Soaps will clean dirt, pollution, bacteria, viruses and dead cells on your body. After bath always dry yourself and put on clean cloths. If you have dry skin, put some Vaseline, mineral oil, cocoa butter or any other moisturizing creams on your hands, arms and legs.

TEETH CARE

Taking care of your teeth is very important. The bacteria in your mouth can cause cavities. These cavities make holes in your teeth which can be very painful. Decayed teeth can cuase infections that affect other parts of your body. Brushing your teeth at least twice a day especially before you sleep can help kill bacteria. Keeping your teeth clean can also help to ensure nice breath.

HAIR CARE

We have hair all over our body. Hair care is pretty easy. Keep hair short. Wash it to keep clean from dust and dirt. Do not share hair combs with strangers. Combs can cause to spread lice and fungal infection and ringworm. Some people have trouble with dandruff. Dandruff consists of small flakes of dead skin. Regular bathing is good cure for this problem. Do not shave hair under armpits and pubic hair around your genitals. If your culture discourages pubic hair, merely trim it with scissors. Trimming hair, a little bit is safe. Hair removing creams or shaving can cause cuts and irritated skin.

EATING WELL

Good nutrition is essential part of our food. Balanced diet throughout our life is important especially in the childhood and adolescence when your body is growing and developing very fast. Balanced diet means have all necessary energy bites in your meal. Beans, nuts, maize, vegies, fruits and must have food items while Protein rich food like milk, egg, fish, chiken, meat etc. are important for building and growing your body. Fats, Oils and Sweets are a good source of quick energy. Keep it in a very low doses.
